I am Jit Gurung from the beautiful village of Chalish in the Ruby Valley Rural Municipality, Dhading District. Since 1996, I have been immersed in the majestic Himalayas, working as a mountain trekking guide. I started as a porter and became a certified guide, now proudly part of the Nepal Wilderness Trekking Agency since 2011.

With a government-trained license, I specialize in leading treks to Nepal’s most popular destinations. Growing up in a remote village, I have a deep understanding of the Himalayas. Fluent in English, I enjoy guiding trekkers, sharing stunning scenery, and providing insights into our diverse cultures, religions, customs, and environmental concerns.

Witnessing trekkers immerse themselves in the beauty of our mountains brings me great joy. My clients often say it enhances their overall experience. Guiding and assisting you in exploring these remarkable mountains is a privilege I cherish.
