Unveiling the Ultimate Adventure: Teri La Pass Trek

Nestled in the heart of the Himalayas, the Teri La Pass Trek is a hidden gem. This newly discovered trail offers a thrilling adventure connecting Upper Mustang to the Nar Phu Valley. It follows the footsteps of ancient salt traders who once crossed Teri La Pass (5,595 m) to trade between the mystical Lo Kingdom (Upper Mustang) and the enchanting Nar Phu Valley.

Since this trek passes through a restricted region of Nepal, you need a special permit from the Immigration Department for both Nar Phu and Upper Mustang. Fortunately, Nepal Wilderness Trekking handles all permit arrangements. We ensure your expedition runs smoothly and provide the latest information for every aspect of the Teri La Pass Trek.

A Week of Unforgettable Camping

The Teri La Pass Trek awakens the adventurous spirit in every trekker. Over a week-long camping journey, you traverse high mountain passes and remote villages while immersing yourself in the raw wilderness. Along the way, you explore diverse landscapes, from the lower regions of Mustang to the Nar Phu Valley, passing through Upper Mustang, secluded moraines, and hidden Himalayan gems.

Throughout the trek, you enjoy spectacular views of Nepal’s uniquely shaped mountains. The Dhaulagiri Range, Annapurna Range, Damodar Himal, the dramatic heights of Tilicho, and the graceful peak of Gangapurna dominate the skyline. Each day brings fresh perspectives, vibrant colors, and an energizing sense of adventure.

Plan your trek between late April and late October. During this time, you experience clear skies, stable weather, and ideal trail conditions, making the Himalayas truly unforgettable.
