Since the terrain can be hard and the days long, hikers on these treks should be in good physical condition and have some previous mountain walking experience. Steep climbing may be involved, although it is never necessary to use ropes. Treks at this level can he arranged for periods of 16 to 21 days. Typically, a gradual ascent through a green river valley will lead you up to a number of high passes, where you will reach the altitude of 5416m.   • Day 01: Travel by public microbus to Besi Sahar and Besisahar to Chame sharing a jeep (2715 meters, stay overnight at the lodge)
  • Day 02: Trek to Pisang (3132 meters, 6 hours walking) and stay overnight at the teahouse
  • Day 03: Trek to Manang (3341 m.. 5 hours walking) Stay overnight at the lodge
  • Day 04: Trek to Khangsar (3734m) (5/6 hours walking) overnight at the lodge
  • Day 05: Khangsar Trek to Tilicho Base Camp (4140m) 4/5 hours walking) overnight at the lodge
  • Day 06: Early morning hike to Tilicho Lake (4919 meters) and trek back to Manang. Stay overnight at a tea house.
  • Day 07: Trek back to Chame (stay overnight at the lodge)
  • DAY 08: drive back to Besi Sahar by sharing a jeep, and Besi Sahar to Kathmandu by microbus.
